Giving Content Creators One Place to Run the Business Behind the Content
Content creators spend a significant portion of their working time on the business surrounding their content: managing brand relationships, tracking campaign deliverables, coordinating approval workflows, planning shoot and post dates, chasing invoices and keeping on top of the administrative side of client work. Across most creator businesses, this work happens in a fragmented combination of spreadsheets, email threads, notes apps and separate invoicing tools none of which talk to each other.
Helm was built to change that. Developed for FUZE TALENT LIMITED, it is an integrated creator management platform that connects client records, campaigns, deliverables, content calendars, tasks and invoicing into a single connected workflow accessible from a mobile app, with a companion web portal and admin panel for the wider platform layer.
Clients, campaigns, deliverables, tasks and invoices were managed across disconnected tools. The platform needed to bring all of these into one connected workspace, so creators could see the full picture of their business without switching between applications.
Creators needed a clear, at-a-glance view of active campaigns: which deliverables were outstanding, what was awaiting approval, when deadlines were approaching and what the payment status was across all current client work.
Approval requests, confirmation emails, campaign summaries and invoice notifications were being handled manually. The platform needed system-generated emails to handle these touchpoints reliably and consistently, reducing the communication overhead on the creator.
Shoot dates, post dates and campaign milestones needed to be connected to a structured calendar and task workflow. Creators managing multiple brand deals simultaneously needed to plan content production visually rather than tracking dates across separate notes.
Invoice creation, scheduling, payment reminders and status tracking were entirely separate from campaign management. Connecting billing to the campaign lifecycle meant creators could move from completed work to invoice without leaving the platform or re-entering data already in the system.
Creators work on the move. The platform needed to be genuinely usable from a phone for all core tasks, not just a simplified mobile view of a desktop product. Campaign updates, deliverable submissions and invoice sends all needed to work naturally from a mobile interface.
We built a connected creator management platform across three interfaces, delivering:
The primary creator-facing application for managing the full workflow on the move:
A web-based companion portal extending the creator workflow beyond mobile:
The platform management layer for the Helm team:
Campaigns are created with full commercial and delivery detail: client, agency, status, deliverables, budget, currency, payment terms, contract PDF and usage rights. Everything about a campaign lives in one record, connected to the client and to the invoice when the work is complete.
Each deliverable carries its content type, approval status, approver contact, file link, caption, hashtags, shoot date and post date. Creators send deliverables for approval using a system-generated email, removing the need to draft individual approval requests for each piece of content.
Campaign activities and tasks are managed through a structured calendar with day, week, month and year views. Creators plan shoot dates, post dates and deadlines visually, with keyword search and filtering to navigate across multiple concurrent brand deals without losing track of individual activities.
Invoices are created within the campaign workflow and sent, scheduled or held for later action. Due dates, payment terms and reminder schedules are all set at the invoice level. Creators mark invoices as paid when payment arrives, giving them a live view of outstanding and settled amounts at any time.
The platform handles the repetitive email communication that surrounds campaign delivery: approval requests, confirmations, campaign summaries, invoice sends and payment reminders. Creators trigger these from within their workflow rather than drafting them manually, keeping communication consistent and reducing administrative effort.
The platform supports email verification, OTP-based login and two-factor authentication as standard. An optional four-digit Menu Lock allows creators to protect specific modules within the app, adding a layer of access control for shared devices or sensitive commercial data.
The creator adds a client record and creates a campaign with its full commercial and delivery detail, including budget, payment terms and contract documents.
Deliverables are defined with content details, file links, approval information and shoot and post dates, giving the creator a structured record of what needs to be produced and when.
Campaign activities and to-dos are managed through the calendar, with reminders and status tracking keeping the creator on top of upcoming deadlines across all active work.
The creator sends deliverables for approval using the platform's formatted email communication, which contains the relevant content details and routes the approval request directly to the nominated approver.
When a campaign is completed, the creator creates, sends or schedules the related invoice from within the same workflow and manages payment status until the invoice is settled.
