To understand ProMotion, first, let’s understand the concept behind it. A concept that is purpose-driven. Founded in 2021 by Bidemi Afolabi and Lauren O’Reilly, ProMotion is based on gaining authentic customer insights from engaging in meaningful surveys and reward systems.
Having a background in scientific research, both Bidemi and Afolabi realised the importance of how customer intelligence was beneficial and how valuable data can be gathered through various rewards programs. Taking their experience forward, they divided their concept into two interconnected software - ProMotion Intelligence & ProMotion Rewards.
As the name suggests, it is an intelligent concept for brands who want to gain valuable customer insights into their real customer behaviour. Through ProMotion Intelligence, brands can register themselves, submit surveys, offer rewards points, and offer discounts.
Now that brands have registered themselves, it’s time for customers to benefit from them, encouraging customer loyalty. Every time a customer shops from ProMotion’s featured brands, they are rewarded with loyalty points which can be converted into real cash points.
Co-founders Bidemi and Lauren are qualified pharmacists and graduates of Masters in Pharmacy from Trinity College Dublin. While directly dealing with customers and working with leading pharmacies, CEO Bidemi and COO Lauren realised that when pharmacies offered loyalty points to regular customers, they felt honoured and looked forward to purchasing more from that brand.
As qualified pharmacists, they utilised the power of effective customer intelligence for CPG companies. They established ProMotion Intelligence and ProMotion Rewards, an innovative concept that can help businesses and brands get the best out of strategic marketing and tactical marketing.
ProMotion’s concept was the first of its kind in Ireland, so we made it our goal to build an app that would delight the users with the very first download. Also, we ensured that the app was available for both the Android & iOS platforms.
Initially, Apple rejected the client’s concept of making donations and cashing out points in the customer’s PayPal wallets. Thus, collaborating with the founders, we decided that instead of allowing users to cash out money from the get-go, we offered them gift cards. But that’s not all, later we also ensured the initial idea of cashing out points to PayPal accounts by introducing a new factor. Users could cash out points to their PayPal account after passing a certain points threshold.
ProMotion Intelligence website is for brands looking to partner with ProMotion. It is a dynamic website supported by a web application, it has a secured dashboard to carry out tasks such as logging in, creating surveys, viewing analytics, and much more. The admin can also see the list of brands registered, send invoices to the brand, approve the brand’s survey questions, and more.
This a static website for users to get acquainted with ProMotion as a concept. It is primarily for users to know how the ProMotion Reward app works and the endless benefits the app offers. If the users face any query, they can check the FAQs section or submit a request and get it resolved. To receive ProMotion’s weekly newsletter, users can also sign up through the website.
We created algorithms that evaluated customers’ purchasing patterns in order to provide an experience that was tailored to them. We used more than ten targeting variables to create customised content and advertisements.
Our technique for scanning receipts is error-free, enabling users to quickly upload their receipts through the app. We put robust systems in place to handle receipts precisely and give users points for their transactions.
We introduced the ability to donate points to worthy causes in order to encourage social responsibility. By integrating the contribution process, people were able to support causes that were important to them.
Strong fraud detection systems were implemented to detect and deny duplicate or fake receipts. This prevented abuse and guaranteed the awards system’s integrity.
